ABOUT THIS ROLE
The chief go-to person in the club is the Club General Manager. They are the captain of the team, responsible for influencing and directing the spark in each of our team members. Through team collaboration, the Club General Manager provides a quality and safe service for not just the club Members, but also every worker. As the Club General Manager you would be in charge of coaching and developing your team, listening and taking on feedback to engage your members and other staff in an entertaining and fun workout environment. Within your club you are the maestro of magic moments, living and breathing the values of Go Health Clubs and leading by example.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage service expectations of Members positively influencing retention and the successful induction of new Members
- Promote and providies a safe and club fresh work place for not just our workers, but also our Members
- Recruit, mentor and train new employees, while identifying and developing succesion plans for all key positions
- Drive club budget, positively influencing the profit and loss of the club by optimising business prospects
- Coordinate effort across all facets of the club to deliver upon the Go Health Clubs promises and brands
- Seek out to reach and consistently succeed goals, exploiting marketing and promotional opportunities
- Be a leader within the business, caring for our People, passionate about fitness, conscientious, tenancious and results orientated
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years or more experience managing a fitness sales team
- Experience managing a club with over 2000 members
- Ability to manage the club profit and loss
- Drive to motivate a successful team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for health & fitness
- First Aid & CPR qualifications
- Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment
